Solo Swim

noun – Solo swim is a non-stop swim performed by an individual swimmer. It usually refers to a channel crossing or marathon swim across a channel, lake or bay, and usually completed without a wetsuit or other equipment like fins, and escorted by a boat, pilot and support crew. It is different from a relay swim that is performed by a group of individuals.

The athlete was preparing for her longest solo swim yet by training four days a day.
